The property remained abandoned 1924 through 1938 when the entirety, land and buildings were purchased by Laird Snowden converted the Carriage house into a three-car garage and installed electricity to the house, carriage house, barn and Jacobs’ house in 1932 (we have a signed board found in a wall signed by the electrician proudly left behind, see pics) He gave the land and buildings to Church Farm School 1953. During his ownership, the road leading into the property was called “Snowden Drive”, as noted on West Whiteland maps. (see pics) (see granddaughter’s letter and wedding pictures on the staircase).
